Inspire, Empower, Lead … for Greater Impact

The single biggest way to impact an organization is to focus on leadership development. There is almost no limit to the potential of an organization that recruits good people, raises them up as leaders, and continually develops them.

ARE YOU READY TO LEVEL UP?

Engineering management is a hard job. There is no operational manual. There are no mainstream courses to learn from. When individual contributors are made Managers, they are expected to know-it-all. It is a difficult transition from being responsible for your own productivity to now being responsible for the productivity of your team.

First-time Managers are left clueless in their new roles. How do I know? I have been there. I struggled and barely survived my first six months as a new Manager. Then, I learned on the job. I observed leaders; read books and blogs; and invested in my self-learning. After many years of managing and leading teams, I still find a gap in training and coaching available for Managers.

I have set out to change this.

What My Clients Say

Thank you for everything – the trust, the push, the support, the guidance – you are a strong leader. Your ability to communicate clearly the expectations and deliverables, both within the team and with external stakeholders, is extraordinary. I have learned a lot from your candor, management frameworks, and leadership style.

Software Manager

I attended Aparna’s webinar on ‘5 PROVEN STEPS for First-Time Managers’ and couldn’t agree more on relatable data points busting myths like one context fits all, one needs to know all and going on cruise mode. Thank you, Aparna for sharing valuable learnings compiled as proven skills like how delivery builds culture and subsequently a rockstar team. Seemingly obvious experiences we consciously or unconsciously ignore, build stereotypes and it is time we paid attention and turn them to add positive value . I highly recommend Aparna’s coaching to anyone looking to successfully navigate nuanced experiences and grow.

After 18 years of working with software engineering teams at companies like Amazon, Ticketmaster, PayPal, and America Online I left my cushy corporate job and set out to work on my two passions – training Software Engineering Managers on how to effectively lead their teams and creating a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family.

My mission in life is to inspire and empower people to do their best and create a lasting impact. I am passionate about mentoring and supporting women in technology. I believe that a balance between people and technology is the key to better experiences and well-performing teams.
